Grays Harbor Health & Rehabilitation in Aberdeen, WA is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to partner with the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily clinical operations and driving quality resident care. This hands-on nursing leader will develop teams and foster accountability and teamwork.

Responsibilities include staff coaching, ensuring training completion, supporting clinical meetings, and ensuring regulatory compliance while sharing weekend on-call duties approximately once per

Qualifications

• RN license in Washington state or NLC eligibility required.
• Nursing leadership experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute care preferred.
• Strong clinical knowledge and leadership skills are essential.
• Experience coaching, developing, and holding staff accountable.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily clinical operations and support quality resident care

• Ensure staff education, required training, and performance evaluations are completed on time
• Support nurse managers in preparing for clinical meetings and addressing resident care concerns
• Monitor medication cart audits, quality measures, and regulatory compliance efforts
• Assist with staffing needs, provide leadership support, and participate in the weekend on-call rotation once per month

What You’ll Need

• Current RN license in Washington State or NLC eligible
• Nursing leadership experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute care
• Strong clinical knowledge and leadership skills
• Experience coaching, developing, and holding staff accountable
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to pass employment screenings
