Job summary

Suffolk University in Boston seeks a RAM Supporter to lead peer mentoring and training for new students and families. You will develop RAM Supporter programs, recruit and train volunteers, and provide personalized guidance during the first year.

This full-time role reports to Orientation, New Student and Family Programs Director, with collaboration across Student Affairs. Occasional evenings and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

Master’s degree requirement as stated.
1-2 years of relevant experience with new student programs or orientation.
Demonstrated ability to develop and assess programs.
Strong ethics and ability to work with a diverse student body.

Responsibilities

RAM Supporter Team recruitment, selection, and leadership development.
Provide peer mentoring, personal support, and success strategy education to at-risk students.
Assist in planning undergraduate student and family orientation initiatives.
Develop and execute family programming and communication.
Oversee orientation & New Student Programs involvement in fall and spring showcases.
Serve on Student Affairs committees to support campus activities.
