Job summary

Learning Care Group in Alabama is seeking an Assistant Director to help run a licensed child care center with the School Director. The role includes supporting safe operations, promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children, and stepping in as the sole leader in the Director’s absence.

You will also help recruit, supervise, and develop staff, ensuring a caring and educational environment for families.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have at least 2 years of Assistant Director experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Associates Degree in ECE or related field is preferred.
• Must meet state requirements for education and center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• Assist in promoting social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• In the Director’s absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
