Job summary

Learning Care Group in Arkansas is hiring an Assistant Director to ensure the safe, effective operation of the school alongside the School Director. In the Director’s absence, you’ll assume full responsibility for daily activities and for promoting a nurturing environment that supports children's growth.

You are expected to lead staff, meet licensing standards, and help drive profitability while maintaining a high-quality educational atmosphere for families and children every day.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the school is operating in accordance with company and state licensing standards.
• Foster an educational, caring, safe environment for the children and parents.
• In the Director’s absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
• Help achieve profitability for the company.
