Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking an Assistant Director to join our team and help oversee a licensed childcare center. You will work with the School Director to ensure safe, effective operation and support the growth of children socially, physically, and intellectually.

In the Director’s absence you’ll step in as the lead, recruit and support staff, and help promote a positive image in the community. Strong leadership and a passion for child development are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• Must be at least 21 years old and meet state requirements.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the school operates safely and in accordance with licensing standards.
• Promote social, physical, and intellectual growth of children.
• Assist in recruiting and retaining qualified staff.
• Lead in the Director's absence to maintain center operations.

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
