Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Director to help manage a licensed child care center. You will work with the School Director to ensure a safe, effective operation and a nurturing environment for children and families.

In the Director’s absence, you will assume sole responsibility for the school and lead staff to promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of every child while maintaining accreditation and licensing standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have at least 2 years of Assistant Director experience in a licensed child care facility
• Associates Degree in ECE or related field preferred.
• Must meet state requirements for education and licensing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the school is operating safely and effectively with the School Director.
• In the Director’s absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Support the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
