Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Training Specialist to lead the development and coaching of Product Sales Specialists, ensuring customers receive expert product information and a positive shopping experience in our stores.

You will deliver certification courses, reinforce the basic P’s of retail, organize merchandising, pricing, and promotions, and communicate SOP changes to associates in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Duties include training and developing Product Sales Specialists
• Must understand and apply company safety and SOPs

Responsibilities

• Train and develop Product Sales Specialists to provide high levels of customer service
• Complete all product specialist certification courses
• Manage merchandising, pricing and department organization
• Communicate SOP directions and changes to associates
• Administer forklift certification and safety procedures
• Assist with product questions and customer selections at point of sale
• Present instructional classes to customers
• Stock and tag displays; create price tags and signs
• Greet customers, assist with checkout and refunds per guidelines
• Ensure store hours and pickup times are observed
