Job summary

Greystar is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee financial and operational aspects of a rental community. You will perform accounting tasks, process invoices, collect rent, and support the leasing team with tours and move-ins.

The role emphasizes accuracy, strong communication, and on-site supervision in the absence of the Community Manager. Housing discounts and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous property management experience is required; fee management is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite; Yardi/OneSite experience highly desired but not required.
• Financial literacy: budgeting, reporting, and reconciliations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Collect and post rents, fees, and other payments; prepare deposits and payables.
• Assist leasing team with virtual and in-person tours.
• Process invoices and vendor payments; manage delinquencies and collections.
• Respond promptly to resident questions and service requests.
• Supervise on-site operations in the Community Manager’s absence.
