Job summary

South Oxford Management is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in daily operations at our Stamford, CT apartment community. You will handle resident relations, maintenance coordination, and financial tasks to ensure smooth property performance.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and a professional appearance, with the ability to walk the property including stairs and lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least one year of leasing experience in residential property management is preferred.
• Knowledge of Yardi and other industry software is preferred.
• Detail oriented with experience creating financial statements and reports.
• Professional appearance and ability to walk the property, including stairs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident concerns and coordinate maintenance requests.
• Support occupancy and retention goals with follow-ups to residents.
• Communicate effectively and build relationships with residents.
• Conduct inspections for market readiness and cleanliness.
• Prepare monthly financial close out and reports.
• Process invoices, rent collections, and account reconciliations.
• Assist in bad debt collection and lease enforcement as needed.
