Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) invites applications for an Assistant Community Manager to assist the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the community. The role involves supporting daily property operations and resident relations in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage files, run reports, collect rent, coordinate renewals, and collaborate with legal counsel on eviction processes while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• 6 months of property management exposure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stay professional in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run assigned reports.
• Respond to resident requests with courteous service.
• Collect all monies due and oversee audit evictions, skips, and move-outs.
• Coordinate with outside counsel during eviction processes.
• Enter data into property management software and update records.
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, unit specs, and current market conditions.
• Develop and maintain resident retention programs.
• Support model/apartment readiness and showings.
