Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Community Manager in managing the financial and operational aspects of the community. The role emphasizes professional conduct, organization, and strong communication as you oversee file management, resident relations, and data entry in property management software in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include handling payments, evictions coordination, show-ready units, marketing outreach, and retention

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in the property management industry.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• The ability to remain professional and courteous in a fast-paced working environment.
• Organization skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run assigned reports.
• Respond to resident requests with courtesy and effective customer service.
• Collect all monies due and oversee evictions, skips, and move-outs by walking units.
• Coordinate with outside legal counsel during eviction process.
• Finalize move in/out and renewals files and enter data into property management software.
• Oversee renter's insurance procedure.
• Collect deposits and process applications.
• Ensure model/target apartments are ready for show and maintain a clean workspace.
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, unit specs, availability, market conditions, and policies.
• Maintain contact with apartment locator services and local businesses for information.
• Shop surrounding properties and conduct outreach marketing.
• Develop and maintain resident retention programs.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
