Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in Morgan Hill, CA to oversee daily on-site operations and financial functions under the Community Manager. You will play a vital role in delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow and financial position, while supervising staff, leasing, maintenance and risk management in the absence of the Community Manager.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree or 2 years housing industry experience is

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years of housing industry experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site operations and financial functions under supervision of the Community Manager.
• Assist with delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow.
• Supervise leasing, maintenance, administration, and risk management in the absence of the Community Manager.
• Manage staff performance, training, coaching, and adherence to company policies.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and safety guidelines; maintain property appearance and records.
