Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financials for a housing community. You will manage rent collections, postings, and reporting while supervising onsite staff under the Community Manager's guidance.

The role requires strong customer service, adherence to fair housing laws, and the ability to ensure compliance with policies. A high school diploma is required, with a bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions under Community Manager supervision.
• Responsible for posting payments and income from applicants and residents.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable and monitor bad debt.
• Assist in ensuring budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI targets.
• Walk units, post move-in/out charges, and handle security deposits.
• Ensure staff compliance with company policies and provide leadership and coaching.
