Job summary

Asset Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager in California to oversee daily operations and financial tasks under the Community Manager. You will directly influence cash flow through rent collection and delinquency management while supervising on-site staff and leasing activities.

The role covers leasing, maintenance, admin, and risk management, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and fair housing guidelines; a bachelor’s degree is preferred or two years in housing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred or two years housing industry experience or equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and financial functions under the Community Manager.
• Manage delinquency and rent collection to optimize cash flow.
• Supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, and risk management on site.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.
• Post payments, reconcile accounts, and close end-of-month procedures.
