Job summary

Asset Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and finances of a housing community under the Community Manager. You will manage delinquency, rent collections, and property cash flow, while supervising staff and ensuring compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.

You will lead leasing activities, execute marketing plans, and supervise maintenance, administration, and risk management during the Community Manager's absence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Posting all payments and income accurately from applicants, current residents, and non-current residents.
• Processing and reconciling daily all accounts receivable.
• Monitoring and following up on bad debt, including late notices and evictions.
• Posting charges to resident and non-current accounts and utilities as applicable.
• End-of-month closing procedures and reporting; maintain organized records.

Education
