Job summary

Asset Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community. You will drive rent collections and optimize cash flow under the Community Manager’s supervision.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, leasing, maintenance, and risk management in their absence, ensuring policy adherence and fair housing compliance. Strong organizational and people skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years housing industry experience.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post and reconcile payments; manage accounts receivable.
• Monitor delinquency; assist with evictions and collections.
• Support budgeting, revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income goals.
• Supervise leasing; manage onsite staff and leasing processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and fair housing.
• Conduct regular property inspections and maintain organized records.
