Job summary

Asset Living is hiring an Assistant Community Manager in Orlando to oversee daily operations under the Community Manager. You will help manage rent collection, budgeting, and compliance with fair housing and safety guidelines while supervising onsite staff and ensuring excellent service for residents.

Experience in housing operations, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws are required. This is a full-time, onsite role offering comprehensive benefits and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Onsite software functions understanding; basic computer skills required.
• Fair Housing Laws knowledge and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income accurately from applicants, residents and others.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt, issue late notices, contact residents/guarantors, and file evictions as needed.
• Assist in meeting budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill back utilities where applicable.
• Perform end-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
• Maintain organized records and audit resident files.
• Walk units and post move-out charges and refunds.
