Job summary

Asset Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager in Stockton, CA to lead daily operations and financial functions of a housing community. You will play a vital role in delinquency management, rent collections, and ensuring operational compliance with policies.

The role oversees personnel, leasing, maintenance, and risk management on-site under the Community Manager’s supervision, ensuring customer service excellence and adherence to Fair Housing and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Posting all payments and income from applicants, current residents, and non-current residents accurately.
• Processing and reconciling daily all accounts receivable.
• Monitoring bad debt, sending late notices, contacting residents/guarantors, and filing evictions.
• Helping the property meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
• Posting charges to resident and non-resident accounts and utilities where applicable.
• Handling end-of-month closing procedures and reporting; maintaining organized records.
• Supervising onsite staff; ensuring compliance with company policies.

Education
