Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational aspects of the community. The role emphasizes professional conduct, accurate reporting, and proactive resident engagement.

Responsibilities include managing files, processing applications, and coordinating with legal for evictions, while maintaining knowledge of lease terms, occupancy, and market conditions.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in the property management industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain professional and courteous in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run assigned reports.
• Provide courteous responses to resident requests using proper customer service and sales techniques.
• Collect all monies due and oversee audits, evictions, skips, and move-outs by walking units to assess occupancy.
• Communicate with outside legal counsel during eviction processes.
• Finalize move in/out and renewal files and enter data into the property management software.
