Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational facets of the community.

The position involves reporting, high-quality customer service, handling payments and evictions coordination, lease administration, and proactive marketing outreach to maintain occupancy and resident retention.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• 6 months experience in property management preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stay professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run reports.
• Respond to resident requests with courteous, effective service.
• Collect monies due; supervise evictions, skips, move-outs; walk units for occupancy checks.
• Coordinate with outside counsel during eviction processes.
• Finalize move in/out and renewals; enter data into PM software.
• Oversee renter's insurance procedures and deposits; process applications.
• Ensure model/target apartments are ready for show and keep workspace clean.
• Maintain knowledge of leases, unit specs, availability, and market conditions.
• Maintain contact with apartment locators and local businesses for materials.
