Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) invites applications for an Assistant Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational facets of the community.

Responsibilities include handling file management, resident requests, and data entry in PM software, while maintaining compliance with lease terms and policies. The role emphasizes professional conduct and strong communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in the property management industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run assigned reports.
• Provide courteous resident service and process requests.
• Collect all monies due and oversee evictions, skips, and move-outs.
• Coordinate with outside counsel during eviction proceedings.
• Enter data into property management software and finalize move-ins/outs.
• Oversee renter’s insurance procedures and deposits.
• Ensure model/target apartments are ready for show and maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, unit specs, availability, and company policies.
• Engage with apartment locator services and local businesses for information.
