Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and financial duties under the Community Manager's supervision.

You will manage rent collection, bookkeeping, and leasing while supervising onsite staff and ensuring compliance with policies and safety guidelines. The role requires strong customer service and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and perform all onsite software functions.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions under Community Manager.
• Post payments, reconcile daily accounts, and monitor rent collections.
• Assist in budget adherence and NOI management.
• Lead staff through leasing, maintenance, and administrative tasks.
• Conduct regular property inspections and ensure safety compliance.
• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or 2 years housing industry experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Tools

Onsite software proficiency

Basic computer skills
