Job summary

Greystar is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for Alta Wren in Cary, NC. This role supports the Community Manager with financial operations, rent collections, and reporting, using Yardi/OneSite to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

You will review delinquencies, process invoices, coordinate with vendors, and assist with evictions, move-outs, and occupancy targets. A strong customer-service mindset and solid communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in residence life and/or property management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily financial transactions: rent, fees, deposits and reports.
• Uses property management software (Yardi/OneSite/Entrata) and keeps records updated.
• Reviews resident files for delinquencies and enforces lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Reviews vendor invoices and processes payments with approvals and coding.
• Follows eviction procedures and represents the community in court hearings.
• Processes move-outs and handles deposits/fees per policy.
• Responds to resident questions/complaints to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Acts as on-site supervisor when Community Manager is absent, coordinating staff.
• Supports owner relations with updates and site tours as needed.
• Assists leasing and marketing: greet prospects, show models, collect applications.
