Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking an Assistant Community Manager in Belmont, CA to support the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational aspects of the community. This full-time position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in the property management industry.
• Customer service experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain professional and courteous in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organization and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run assigned reports.
• Use proper customer service and sales techniques and respond to all resident requests.
• Collect all monies due and oversee audit evictions, skips, and move-outs by walking units to evaluate occupancy.
• Communicate with outside legal counsel during eviction processes.
• Finalize move in/out and renewals files and enter data into property management software.
• Oversee resident renter’s insurance procedures.
• Collect deposits and process applications from future residents.
• Ensure model/target apartments are ready for show and maintain a clean workspace.
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, unit specs, availability, market conditions, and company policies.
• Maintain contact with apartment locator services and local businesses; provide informational material.
• Conduct outreach marketing and compare with surrounding properties.
• Develop and maintain ongoing resident retention programs.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
