Apartment Management Consultants is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational facets of the community. The role emphasizes customer service, handling resident requests, and accurate data entry into property management software while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• At least 6 months in the property management industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee file management and run assigned reports.
• Provide courteous response to resident requests using customer service and sales techniques.
• Collect all monies due; oversee evictions, skips, and move-outs; audit occupancy by walking units.
• Communicate with outside legal counsel during eviction processes.
• Finalize move in/out and renewals; enter data into property management software.
• Oversee renter’s insurance procedures and collect deposits.
• Process applications from future residents and maintain model/target apartments.
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, unit specs, availability, and policies.
