Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Assistant Commissioning Manager to lead testing and commissioning for HV, BESS, and PV projects. You will coordinate with the Commissioning Manager and subject‑matter experts to ensure systems are installed, tested, and commissioned in line with project requirements and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in testing and commissioning on utility scale electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, inverters, transformers, and electrical infrastructure.
• Proven experience managing project teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project commissioning team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective execution of tasks.
• Report daily to the Commissioning Manager on status of each project.
• Review requirements and assist with development of project milestones, plans, procedures.
• Coordinate with OEM suppliers on equipment testing and commissioning activities.
• Develop integrated testing/commissioning schedules and update weekly.
• Manage pre-commissioning and testing for BESS, HV, PV plant systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
