Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Commissioning Manager to lead testing and commissioning for HV, BESS, and PV projects nationwide. You will oversee commissioning teams, align with engineering, construction, and QA, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance throughout the process.

The role requires onsite presence at job sites with partial remote work. You will report to the Commissioning Manager and contribute to schedules, procedures, and continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in testing and commissioning on utility scale electrical systems.
• Experience managing project teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with NFPA/NEC, IEEE standards.
• Willingness to travel for project needs.
• On-site requirement with hybrid work arrangement.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project commissioning team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective execution.
• Report daily to the Commissioning Manager, status of each project assigned.
• Review technical, contractual, and regulatory requirements; assist with commissioning plans and procedures.
• Coordinate with OEMs and project teams on testing and commissioning activities.
• Develop switching plans and LOTO procedures for cold, warm, and hot commissioning.
• Prepare detailed daily commissioning reports with test results and corrective actions.
