Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Commissioning Manager to oversee testing and commissioning for HV, BESS, and PV systems across diverse project sites. The role blends field leadership with planning, ensuring all systems meet safety and performance standards.

The position is hybrid with onsite presence at job sites and some remote work, reporting to the Commissioning Manager. You will coordinate with engineering, construction, and QA teams to deliver high-quality renewable energy assets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years testing and commissioning on utility-scale electrical systems
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, inverters, transformers, and electrical infrastructure
• Proven experience managing project teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead the project commissioning team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective execution of tasks.
• Report daily to the Commissioning Manager, the status of each project assigned.
• Review technical, contractual, and regulatory requirements related to commissioning and assist with the development of a project milestone and deliverables list, project specific commissioning plan, and commissioning procedures.
• Communicate with the OEM suppliers regarding equipment specific testing and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with project teams, including engineering, construction, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment in all commissioning activities.
