Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Assistant Commissioning Manager to support testing and commissioning of HV, BESS, and PV projects. You will coordinate with the Commissioning Manager and SMEs to ensure installations meet project requirements, safety standards, and industry best practices.

The role is hybrid with onsite field work at job sites and partial remote work. You will manage commissioning teams, liaise with engineering, construction, and QA, and help deliver high-quality renewable energy assets

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of testing and commissioning on utility-scale electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, inverters, transformers, and electrical infrastructure.
• Proven experience managing project teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project commissioning team with guidance, training, and support.
• Report daily to the Commissioning Manager on project status.
• Develop and maintain commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.
• Coordinate with OEM suppliers on equipment testing and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Manage pre-commissioning through hot commissioning tests for HV, BESS, and PV assets.
