Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Commissioning Manager to support planning, execution, and oversight of testing for HV, BESS, and PV projects. You will lead commissioning teams, coordinate with engineering and quality teams, and ensure safety standards and project requirements are met.

Qualifications

• This role requires a minimum of 3 years in testing and commissioning on utility-scale electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, inverters, transformers, and electrical infrastructure.
• Experience managing project teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with NFPA/NEC, IEEE/IES/API standards and NERC/ISO requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project commissioning team with guidance, training, and support.
• Report daily to the Commissioning Manager on project status.
• Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and milestones for projects.
• Coordinate with OEMs on equipment testing and commissioning activities.
• Manage integrated testing schedules and weekly updates.
• Prepare daily commissioning reports and capture lessons learned.
