Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Dallas seeks an Assistant Chief Engineer to support the Chief Engineer in leading the engineering team, ensuring safe, efficient operations and 100% uptime through reliability-based maintenance. You will help supervise engineers, oversee contractors, and maintain regulatory compliance while managing infrastructure documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facilities-related work experience, including 2+ years in a leadership/supervisory capacity.
• Solid knowledge of maintenance processes with some understanding of construction planning and execution.
• Exposure to HVAC, fluid handling/pumping, fluid filtering, mechanical systems, welding, and electrical systems engineering and operation.
• Working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office and CMMS systems.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise operation and maintenance of HVAC, water cooling, boilers, heating, ventilation, pumps, valves, piping, and other equipment.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing engineers and maintenance staff.
• Oversee contractor activities and CFWA process.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and building drawings; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide safe, cost-effective maintenance and reliability programs; support Chief Engineer in leadership responsibilities.
