Qualifications

• Experience training, coaching, or supervising others in a retail security environment.
• Ability to identify, investigate, and respond to theft, safety, and policy incidents.
• Knowledge of company policies and legal requirements for apprehensions and evidence.
• Ability to complete required security training and certifications.
• Ability to apprehend shoplifters and respond appropriately in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support Asset Protection colleagues in theft prevention and investigations.
• Partner with store leadership to maintain a safe, secure environment for customers and staff.
• Use surveillance, alarm, reporting, and computer systems to document incidents.
• Respond to incidents including first aid, safety concerns, and potential liability matters.
• Create clear reports and support audits, investigations, and compliance efforts.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement on investigations when needed.
