Job summary

Burlington is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure shopping environment while delivering exceptional customer service. You will stand at store entrances, monitor for theft, greet customers with a friendly, energetic greeting, and report incidents to the Manager on Duty.

Experience in customer service or retail is preferred. Part-time hours include nights, weekends, and holidays; competitive wages and associate discounts are offered, with Burlington Stores, Inc.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances and high‑risk areas to reduce opportunities for theft
• Greet every customer entering or exiting with a warm, confident greeting
• Identify and report theft incidents to the Manager on Duty
• Assist in shortage reduction programs and training for associates
