Burlington is hiring a Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure shopping environment while delivering exceptional customer service. You will monitor entrances, greet customers, and report theft or suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.

The role emphasizes command presence, knowledge of shortage programs, and collaboration with store leadership. Candidates should have 1+ years in customer service or related fields, be able to stand for long periods, and work a flexible schedule

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and to visually monitor store environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is required.
• Excellent communication with customers and co-workers.
• Flexible schedule; including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Monitor the entrance/exit and high-risk areas to deter theft and ensure a secure shopping environment.
• Greet every customer with a warm smile and a loud, friendly greeting.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious individuals to the Manager on Duty.
• Maintain professional appearance and wear designated dress standards with radio/earpiece.
• Support shortage reduction programs and safety practices across the store.
