Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure shopping environment while delivering excellent customer service. You will monitor entrances, identify theft trends, and partner with store leadership to reduce opportunities for loss.

You will greet customers confidently, uphold safety standards, and participate in shortage reduction programs. Part-time schedule includes nights, weekends, and holidays with benefits for eligible associates.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Stand and walk for extended periods and visually monitor store environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Analyze business trends and stay observant in a fast-paced setting.
• Present a positive demeanor with strong posture and energetic greeting.
• Communicate clearly with customers and coworkers and foster relationships.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional appearance at all times, wearing designated dress standards and equipment.
• Stand at store entrance, remain vigilant of surroundings.
• Greet every customer entering or exiting with a warm smile and loud greeting to emphasize security.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious behavior to Manager on Duty.
