Job summary

Staff Perm, LLC is seeking an Asset Management Specialist in Wilsonville, OR to maintain asset records, coordinate demo asset shipments, and ensure compliance with trade regulations. The role supports multiple business units by enhancing sales enablement and audit readiness through precise inventory control.

You will handle lifecycle policies, ship/dock demo assets, assist with documentation, and conduct periodic audits while collaborating with engineering, sales, and global trade teams.

Qualifications

• Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Experience in supply chain logistics for defense or EO/IR systems.
• Knowledge of U.S. and international trade regulations and global shipping.
• Ability to bridge logistics and product operations by learning system functionality.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and keep focus in fast-paced environments.
• Physical ability to lift and move objects weighing 50 lbs+.
• Familiarity with CRM/SAP or ERP data systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain asset records in the asset management system with status, location, ownership, and usage history.
• Coordinate demo asset shipments, transfers, returns, and disposals per regulations and priorities.
• Prepare documentation for global logistics, including export controls, customs forms, and certificates of conformance.
• Develop and enforce asset lifecycle policies and procedures.
• Schedule and allocate demo assets for events with Applications Engineering and Sales teams.
• Test system functionality before shipments depart and after returns.
• Coordinate with local service department for inventory repairs.
• Conduct audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Track asset condition and advise on disposition of aging equipment.
• Collaborate with Global Trade Compliance to ensure ITAR/EAR compliance.
• Assist in training staff on asset management tools and procedures.
• Generate recurring and ad hoc inventory reports for leadership and audits.
