Job summary

Cognizant in Dayton, OH seeks a Sr Asset Management Analyst to oversee end-to-end lifecycle management of devices and peripherals, maintain a centralized inventory in ServiceNow, and drive cost optimization across HAM processes.

You will coordinate asset refresh, track leases, manage returns, ensure audit accuracy, and generate reports on inventory and shipments. The role offers eligibility for Cognizant's annual incentive plan.

Qualifications

• End-to-end lifecycle management of devices and peripherals.
• Maintain centralized inventory in ServiceNow.
• Coordinate asset onboarding/offboarding and returns.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end lifecycle management of all Devices (except US Mobile devices) and peripherals.
• Manage & maintain centralized inventory database including devices, shipment status from asset creation till disposals.
• Manage dispatch and return of assets for onboarding/offboarding.
• Monitor and initiate Lifecycle Management processes, Track lease terms, coordinate renewals/returns.
• Manage the refresh process, monitor asset return status, initiate follow-ups.
• Review, validate, and approve all Service requests for all HAM process.
• Maintain and execute the asset allocation process, including approvals before fulfilment.
• Track and manage mobile devices from procurement to retirement.
• Regular reconciliation of asset records with physical inventory & discovery reports.
• Bi-yearly inventory audit with highest accuracy; manage ghost/untracked assets.
• Provide reports on inventory, shipments, usage, aging, compliance.
• Manage & maintain defined KPIs across all defined process.
• Maintain real-time updates of asset status in ServiceNow.
• Prioritize cost optimization to prevent cost overruns or unutilized inventory.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Setting timelines for clearing the backlog & reporting progress to stakeholders.
