Job summary

Seneca Resources is seeking an IT Asset Management Analyst focused on ServiceNow and hardware lifecycle to support enterprise IT asset management operations for a government client in New York. You will maintain accurate inventories, reconcile records, and ensure data integrity across ServiceNow and related systems.

The role is hands-on, requires onsite work in New York, NY, and collaboration with IT field teams, end users, and auditors to enable compliance, reporting, and lifecycle initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of logistics, inventory management, IT asset management, or related experience.
• 1–2+ years of desktop engineering, desktop support, or hands-on IT hardware experience.
• 1–2+ years of experience with operating system hardware and software.
• Experience tracking physical inventory, equipment, or technology assets.
• Strong analytical and data-quality skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work onsite as required.

Responsibilities

• Track computers and related IT hardware across the asset lifecycle.
• Maintain asset information within ServiceNow and other asset systems.
• Monitor deployment, assignment, transfer, recovery, and retirement activities.
• Support State of Good Repair (SOGR) lifecycle and technology refresh initiatives.
• Coordinate asset activities across offices and locations.
• Partner with IT field teams and end users to validate asset assignments.
• Generate reporting for compliance, audits, and management oversight.
