Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Assembly Technician for 1st Shift in Greenwood, SC to assemble name plates for high voltage modules and related sub-assemblies according to drawings and instructions. This role emphasizes accuracy, lean practices, and adherence to safety standards.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, 3 months of manufacturing experience, and be proficient with hand and power tools. Eligible for a variable incentive program; relocation is not offered; limited to within 50

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 months of manufacturing experience in an industrial environment.
• SCMC or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble or place name plates per drawings and instructions from supervision.
• Fill out productivity and 5S sheets daily.
• Maintain minimum Kanban levels and report shortages or defects.
• Respond to change notices and customer-initiated development needs.
• Assist engineering and supervision with development work.
