Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Assembly Technician for 1st shift in Greenwood, SC. You will assemble name plates for HV/mid-voltage units, following drawings and instructions, while maintaining 5S and Kanban practices. You will assist engineering and respond to change notices to support customer needs.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus manufacturing exposure and SCMC or equivalent preferred. Overtime may be required, and relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• No relocation benefit; within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC.

Responsibilities

• Create or place name plates per drawings and supervisor instructions.
• Fill out productivity and 5S sheets daily.
• Maintain Kanban levels and report shortages, defects and updates.
• Assist engineering, drafting and supervision with development work.
• Respond to change notices and customer adjustments.
