Job summary

Kelly Services in Fairborn, OH is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team and contribute to hands-on fabrication and assembly processes. The role covers layout, assembly, testing, and documentation activities, with emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Your daily tasks include supporting inventory controls and collaborating with a cross-functional team. The ideal candidate has a hands-on background, experience with calipers, blueprints, and measuring

Qualifications

• Hands-on background in assembly, fabrication, or manufacturing.

• Ability to work with electrical/pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, assemble, and fabricate End of Arm Tooling and components.
• Test and inspect assemblies to meet quality standards.
• Maintain and update assembly drawings and bills of materials.
• Support inventory control and equipment installations.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment.
• Attend meetings and training sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Assembly Technician

Fairborn,

Pay Rate: $24.50 per hour

Shift: 1st, 7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday-Friday

What’s a typical day as Assembly Technician? You’ll be:

• Laying out, assembling, and fabricating End of Arm Tooling and components

• Testing and inspecting assemblies to meet quality standards

• Maintaining and updating assembly drawings and bills of material

• Supporting inventory control and equipment installations

• Ensuring a clean, organized, and safe environment

• Attending meetings and training sessions

• Performing other duties as assigned

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a hands‑on technical background in assembly, fabrication, or manufacturing

• Are experienced with measuring tools, layout work, light machinery, and electrical/pneumatic systems

• Possess strong problem‑solving and communication skills

• Demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to quality

• Are organized, reliable, and team‑oriented

• MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE W/ CALIPERS, HAND TOOLS AND BLUE PRINTS
