Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Manufacturing Operator in Fremont, CA. The role runs a 6:45AM to 3:15PM shift with a pay rate of $23 per hour. You will unpack, assemble, and install components, move materials, and prepare IT hardware for racks and servers.

Candidates should be detail-oriented, able to work in a team, and comfortable following documented procedures. Experience with manual assembly and server IT hardware is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures and sequences to unpack, prepare components, install components, and assemble units.
• Move materials between production, warehouse, and other areas.
• Unpack and package production materials.
• Assemble simple components and sub-assemblies, including computer parts into a chassis on an assembly line.
• Use hand tools or power screwdrivers to install brackets, small components, and labels on products.
• Install rails to rack specifications.
• Identify and scan labels for rack specifications.
• Label cables for rack specifications using a labeling machine.
• Rack and install server components.
• Perform any additional assigned tasks.

• Shift : 6:45AM - 3:15PM

• Pay Rate : $23/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Follows procedures, instructions and sequence of operations in unpacking, preparing components, installing components, and assembling units.

• Move materials between production, warehouse, and other areas.

• Unpack and package production materials.

• Performs product assembly operations on simple components, assemblies, or sub-assemblies - this may involve integration of computer parts into a chassis on an assembly line.

• Utilize small hand tools or power screwdrivers to install brackets, small components, and labels on products.

• Installation of rails to elevation on rack specifications.

• Identify and scan labels for rack specification.

• Identify and label cables for rack specifications using cable labeling machine.

• Cable racks and server components.

• Any additional assigned tasks.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail

• Familiarity with Manufacturing Documentation

• Experience working in manual assembly, especially with server racks or IT hardware, is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to regularly lift, push, and or move up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to stand for a prolonged period

• Manual dexterity

• At least 6 months of experience
