Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prefer internal promote who has completed all required learning zone training and certiications.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Possess a minimum of 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role, preferably in a service-related business.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Have open availability and the ability to work flexible hours and all shifts as needed.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly with a can-do attitude.
• Comes to work with good hygiene.
• Has reliable transportation and able to arrive to work on time.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain financial controls and coach and train employees.
• A positive, friendly, and courteous attitude.

Responsibilities

• Manages cost categories (food, labor, cash) within guidelines and budgets.
• Drives sales growth by improving service speed, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Maintains staffing levels and schedules for all days/parts.
• Conducts performance appraisals for crew, shift managers, and assistant gMs.
• Leads hiring of crew, shift leaders, and assistant gMs.
• Coaches staff to achieve certification and performance targets.
• Ensures restaurant cleanliness and sanitation compliance.
• Adheres to laws and regulations governing employment.
• Maintains a safe work environment and reports repairs.
• Ensures preventative maintenance and reports issues to maintenance.
• Provides feedback on operating results to area coach and supports turnover reduction.
• Prepares food for guests and training, and manages cash handling when required.
