Job summary

MPI is seeking an Assistant Project Manager/Junior Project Manager in New York to support Project Managers across commercial and residential construction projects. You will assist with scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking while coordinating RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

The role involves liaising with clients, architects, and subcontractors, tracking progress, and documenting project actions.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in construction project management, coordination, or engineering.
• Experience on commercial or residential projects preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project management.
• Support scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders, and documentation.
• Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and field teams.
• Monitor progress and help meet milestones on schedule.
• Attend site visits and meetings, documenting key actions.
