Job summary

MPI client, a well-established commercial construction firm, is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to help plan and coordinate projects from start to finish. You will monitor schedules and budgets, collaborate with managers, and oversee subcontractors to ensure on-spec delivery.

The Successful Applicant will bring construction project management experience, strong organization, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

  • Experience with construction project management in the business services industry.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and coordinating construction projects from start to finish.
  • Monitor project schedules and budgets to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to address challenges and find solutions.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to project specifications.
  • Maintain project documentation and prepare regular progress reports.
  • Support procurement activities, including sourcing materials and managing supplier relationships.
