Job summary

VIP, Inc. is seeking an ASE Technician to diagnose and repair automotive systems, perform maintenance, and ensure work is done right the first time.

You’ll work under the Service Manager, follow VIP safety and process standards, and help deliver a superior customer experience. This role requires knowledge of ASE A1–A8 areas, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to obtain state vehicle inspector status and tire service credentials.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journals, and procedures
• Explain vehicle information to customers and respond to questions from coworkers
• Diagnose and recommend solutions to basic automotive problems
• Possess valid driver’s license and Equipment Safety Certification
• Pursue ASE certification (G1, A4, A5) or higher as role progresses

Responsibilities

• Diagnose automotive systems and perform repairs and maintenance
• Ensure work orders are initiated and displayed during service
• Follow safety policies and loss prevention programs
• Complete required training and certifications for the position
• Maintain shop cleanliness and organization and adhere to VIP quality standards
