Job summary

VIP, Inc. is seeking an ASE Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain automotive systems in a fast-paced shop environment.

You will ensure safety, complete Service Work Orders, and uphold VIP quality standards while delivering an excellent customer experience. Responsibilities include diagnosing systems per ASE series coverage, obtaining parts through management, and maintaining productivity with a strong focus on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journals or procedures.
• Explain vehicle information to customers and respond to questions.
• Diagnose and recommend solutions to automotive problems.
• Interpret and apply written, oral, diagram or schedule instructions.
• Perform required types of automotive services listed above.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain automotive systems per VIP standards.
• Follow safety policies, training and lockout procedures.
• Initiate Service Work Orders and display them during service.
• Ensure proper parts handling and returns after service.
• Maintain productivity targets and quality, safety & housekeeping.
