Job summary

VIP, Inc. seeks an ASE Technician to diagnose and repair automotive systems, ensuring quality workmanship and safety compliance. The role emphasizes accurate service orders, MPI, and participation in VIP’s customer engagement process.

The technician will handle engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, electrical systems, and A-series work with a focus on first-time quality and adherence to safety policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journals, and procedures.
Explain vehicle information to customers clearly and accurately.
Diagnose and recommend solutions to basic automotive problems.
Interpret written or verbal instructions and apply them to service tasks.
Ability to perform automotive services listed in ASE areas.

Responsibilities

Perform automotive diagnosis, repair, and maintenance per VIP standards.
Ensure a valid Service Work Order is created before service and displayed with the vehicle.
Complete MPI before service and participate in the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement Process.
Return unused parts to the Desk Team and manage cores/batteries safely.
Maintain safety and housekeeping standards and participate in training and certification.
