Job summary

VIP, Inc. is seeking an ASE Technician to diagnose and repair automotive systems in a safety‑driven shop environment. The role emphasizes accurate diagnostics, quality workmanship, and adherence to VIP processes for a superior customer experience.

The technician will handle service work orders, perform MPI, and support 5‑for‑5 customer engagement while maintaining shop safety and cleanliness and ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze and interpret technical instructions and procedures.
• Explain vehicle information clearly to customers and coworkers.
• Diagnose and recommend solutions to automotive problems.
• Possess a valid driver's license and ASE certifications as listed.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnosis, repair and maintenance for automotive systems.
• Follow safety policies and ensure work is performed to VIP quality standards.
• Ensure Service Work Order is initiated and displayed during service.
• Assist with MPI and participate in the 5-for-5 Customer Engagement process.
• Return cores, batteries and used tires to designated areas after service.
