Job summary

Akima Global Logistics in Wahiawa, Hawaii seeks a Transportation Coordinator to plan, schedule, and coordinate inbound and outbound Army equipment during turn-in at a contractor site. You will ensure compliance with DTR and Army policies while maintaining documentation for accountability of government property.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent or relevant work experience.
• 3–5 years of transportation or logistics coordination (Army contractor or military environment preferred).
• Must have a valid driver’s license, real ID, CAC eligibility, and ability to obtain background suitability.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all operations related to receipt, processing, and shipment of vehicles, equipment, and repair parts.
• Develop and manage shipment schedules to prevent bottlenecks during high-volume operations.
• Act as primary liaison with unit supply personnel, warehouse teams, drivers, and leadership for cargo flow.
